More Animal Abuse, Make It Stop!

In light of Michael Vick being recently released from prison for murdering dogs I felt like some more light has been cast on the topic of animal abuse. Thinking that light would save us from hearing about horrible stories of animal abuse for a while was totally wrong. A number of posts ago I shared with you a tragic story about the teenage girl who put her ex-roommate’s dog in the oven and killed it as an act of some kind of revenge- and had the audacity to say it was just a joke. Well, here we go again unfortunately. Another teen, this one from New York too, did something unspeakable to his terrier mix. Brace yourself. He threw the dog from the roof (6 floors) of his apartment building. The dog didn’t die, but needless to say was very badly injured. How anyone is capable of such a horrific act is sickening. And that we have to share the planet with such disturbed people is truly disturbing. The accused pleaded not guilty, read for yourself: Get Well Soon Oreo!
